The publication
A journal for people who actually have to finish the course
Digital Courses began as a directory of online programs. The listings went stale. The questions did not. We rebuilt the site as long-form reporting on how Australians buy, fund and complete digital study.

The old Digital Courses site sat in that familiar Australian genre: a catalogue of providers, a few banners, and the hope that a searcher looking for “diploma of business online” would click through. Wayback snapshots of the domain are no longer usable, so we have not pretended to clone a pixel. We have kept the niche and the voice — practical, slightly sceptical, written in Australian English — and thrown out the directory chrome.
What remains is a publication. We write about platforms, TAFE Digital, Open Universities Australia, bootcamps, FEE-HELP, workplace learning and the people who try to sell courses from a spare room in Adelaide. We do not take inventory fees to rank a provider. When a piece mentions a paid placement it is labelled, and the link carries rel="sponsored". That rule lives in our editorial standards.
The desk is small. Copy is edited in Melbourne, features come out of Sydney, reviews are filed from Brisbane, and creator pieces from Adelaide. Corrections go to support@worldwidebacklinks.com or the contact form. If you want to pitch, read write for us before you attach a 3,000-word file.
Photographs on this site are Creative Commons or public domain, stored in the repository, and listed on the image credits page. We would rather credit a librarian in Carlton than generate a stock smile.
